Services for Charles Michael Panzica will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004 in
Sts. Francis and Anne Catholic Church with Rev. Rick Gremillion and Rev. Jim
Foster officiating under the direction of John Kramer & Son. Interment will
be announced at a later date.
Charles Michael Panzica, age 40, of Deville, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2003 in
University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, Miss.
Charles was a career soldier, serving in Nuremburg, Germany, as well as in
Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He was a member of the 812th Medical Company Air
Ambulance Group/OMS 5 Maintenance Group, Camp Beauregard and Esler Field. He was
a Boy Scout Master of Troop 30 Sts. Francis and Anne Church, Kolin. He was a
member of the Kolin and Deville Volunteer Fire departments.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Panzica, Jr.; one sister,
Threase L. Doty; grandparents, Charles J. Panzica, Sr. and wife Sudie Smith; and
grandparents, Calvin Dauzat and wife Eva Reed.
Charles Panzica is survived by his wife, Janie O'Neal Panzica of Deville; two
sons, Patrick David Panzica of Deville and Casey Adam Panzica of Hudson Creek;
mother, Verdia "Mickey" Doty of Kolin; stepfather, Loyd Doty of Kolin;
two brothers, Robert Wayne Panzica of Ashtown, Ark., and Thomas "T.C."
Doty of Kolin; uncle, Wayne Dauzat and wife Ann of Kolin; and aunt, Margaret
Panzica Williams and husband Donald of Tioga.
Friends are asked to call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at John Kramer & Son.
A Christian wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral
home.
