Amanda and Benn

Christmas came early for Amanda and Benn. On December 23, 2004, they became engaged to be married. Right after the betrothal they went over to see Amanda’s sister and brother-in-law, Natalie and Darryl Monroe—her whole family was waiting.
Benn is our oldest son and an attorney in Baton Rouge. Amanda is the daughter of Johnny and Maggie Martin of Alexandria; she graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University and earned her Master’s Degree in opera at the University of Texas. Our prayer is that Amanda and Benn’s life together will be a symphony of joy, a true work of God.
